Job Title: Shop Floor Assistant

Key Responsibilities

The primary function of this role is to merchandise, rotate and face off all stock in assigned departments while upholding the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment at all times.
  • Processing orders for various departments efficiently and accurately.
  • Ensuring that all products are presented to the highest standard by implementing effective merchandising strategies.
  • Liaising with the Store Manager to implement changes to layouts, ends and sides as needed.
  • Implementing correct labelling and stock rotation procedures to minimize waste and maximize sales.
  • Ensuring that deliveries are checked off correctly in line with goods inwards procedures.
  • Keeping the back-store tidy and organized.

This role requires a high level of flexibility and initiative, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.
