Job Summary:
To deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to a team of medical professionals in a private hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Cardiac Physiologist to perform diagnostic non-invasive cardiology tests and participate in invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures. The ideal candidate will maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Investigations and Procedures:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting and supporting the following range of cardiac investigations:

  • Resting 12 lead ECG, interpretation and analysis
  • Fitness testing and analysis of ambulatory ECG BP and event monitoring
  • Exercise stress testing, interpretation and reporting (supervised by an ACLS certified practitioner)
  • Echocardiography and reporting
  • Assist in Transoesophageal Echocardiography
  • Haemodynamic monitoring and procedural documentation during invasive and non-invasive cardiac procedures (supervised unless ACLS certified)
  • Cardiac rhythm device management (from implant support to follow up and programming)

Requirements:
Applicants must have relevant qualification, 2 years' post-graduate experience is desirable and IICMP registration.
