Our company is seeking a seasoned Tax Professional to fill a pivotal role in our tax department.

The key responsibilities of this position include overseeing a portfolio of corporate, personal, and VAT clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with all obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and manage corporate tax, income tax, and VAT client portfolios to ensure timely and accurate compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members on tax compliance work, ensuring high standards of accuracy and presentation.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients by providing expert advice on tax matters, interpreting legislation, and managing Revenue correspondence.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and provide insightful analysis on evolving legislative issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to deliver seamless client service experiences.
  • Support the professional growth and development of junior team members through training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Drive process improvements by implementing tax technology and automation tools, enhancing efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist with billing, WIP management, and collections aligned with business targets.
Requirements
  • Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) qualification required; additional accounting qualifications advantageous but not essential.
  • Minimum 23 years of post-qualification experience in tax compliance roles within a professional services environment.
  • Proven expertise in Irish corporate and personal tax compliance.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and project management skills.
  • A proactive, team-oriented individual with a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Familiarity with tax technology or an interest in process improvement a plus.
