QC Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring quality control processes meet the highest standards of excellence.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine lab tests to ensure timely product release and quality assurance.
• Coordinate testing with external labs for raw materials and final products to maintain quality and consistency.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality to prevent errors.
• Document and investigate any non-conformances, implementing corrective actions as needed to minimize downtime.
• Assist in updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other lab documentation to reflect best practices.
• Complete required training promptly to perform assigned tasks and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
• Maintain QC facilities to GMP standards and support inspections or site visits to demonstrate compliance.
• Contribute to the Quality Management System by managing documents and ensuring data integrity to inform business decisions.
• Participate in equipment qualification and method validation or transfer activities to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Support and propose continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

• A degree in a scientific field such as Biochemistry or Chemistry.
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environments and regulations.
• Knowledge of gene therapy or biologics testing methods like qPCR, HPLC, Western Blot, SDS-PAGE, DNA extraction, or spectrophotometry.
• Experience with mammalian cell culture or flow cytometry is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and understand systems and processes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to changing priorities.
