Junior Sous Chef Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate looking to take their career to the next level.


Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide additional support to the head chef and senior sous chef, working closely with the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist the head chef and senior sous chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of service and quality control.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as necessary, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of experience as a junior sous chef or similar seniority in a hotel kitchen setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the kitchen team and other departments.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
