Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Trade Floor Specialist to join our Fixed Income team in Dublin. This is a challenging role that requires excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities and a passion for fast-paced environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing hands-on support for Excel-based workflows, troubleshooting issues, managing add-ins and handling quant library installations.

They will also work with real-time data feeds, including market data, Bloomberg (BBG), Risk/Pvs and Trade Blotter systems.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial markets and trading instruments, as well as experience with Python programming and debugging.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to traders, resolve issues efficiently and maintain critical systems to ensure seamless trading operations.
  • Work with real-time data feeds, including market data, Bloomberg (BBG) and Trade Blotter systems.
  • Collaborate with traders to understand their challenges, identify solutions and communicate progress clearly and effectively.
  • Liaise with IT teams to articulate and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to trading activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Previous experience in a similar trade floor environment, ideally Fixed Income.
  • Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, data manipulation and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with managing Excel add-ins and quant library setups.
  • Exposure to real-time market data feeds and trading systems.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and trading instruments.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with traders and IT teams effectively.
  • Basic Python programming skills, with the ability to debug and resolve issues.
