Job Role Summary:

The Director of Nursing Support is a vital position within our healthcare facility, playing a pivotal role in delivering exceptional nursing care to residents. This individual will collaborate closely with the Director of Nursing to uphold the highest standards of care and support the implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines across all staff levels.

  • You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and clinical guidance to ensure effective, efficient, and resident-centered care delivery.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be proactive in identifying areas for improvement, and possess a passion for continuous learning and development.

Responsibilities:

  1. To work collaboratively with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement plans to improve resident outcomes and experiences.
  2. To lead by example and foster a culture of excellence, transparency, and open communication among team members.
  3. To maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry developments to inform strategic decision-making.
  4. To manage competing priorities, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality and resident safety.
  5. To engage in coaching, appraisal, and grievance activities to support employee growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior nursing role, preferably in a management capacity.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
