Key Retail Position: Sales and Deli Assistant

We are searching for a highly skilled sales professional with excellent customer service skills to join our team as a Retail Sales and Deli Assistant.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Deli Area: Provide outstanding customer service, respond to queries, make product recommendations, and resolve requests in a timely manner.
  • Preparation of Special Orders: Prepare and fulfill special orders, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Display Management: Update displays, cases, and other customer-facing areas to showcase new products and promotions.
  • Workplace Hygiene: Maintain clean and organized workspaces, including surfaces, equipment, floors, and removing waste.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Follow established procedures for food safety and sanitation.
Shop Duties:
  • Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Customer Inquiries: Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries at the cash desk.
  • Inventory Management: Stock shelves, tidy and clean areas, and maintain a presentable shop environment.

The ideal candidate will possess previous customer service experience, initiative, and a strong work ethic. Experience in a deli setting is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided. The role requires early morning, evening, and weekend work, so flexibility is necessary.
