About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Part/Nearly Qualified Actuary to join our team as an Actuarial Pricing Specialist on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

This position involves working within the underwriting department, reporting to the Business Lines Pricing Manager, and aiding in the management of pricing projects to support plan delivery for portfolios.

Key responsibilities include categorizing complex data, overseeing training of junior actuaries, and cultivating MI and reporting capabilities to provide pricing insights to portfolio managers and underwriters.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a general insurance role with pricing experience and excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working in the General Insurance
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills with knowledge of relevant software and programming languages
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a non-life pricing position
