Job Title: Functional Assessor

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments to evaluate an individual's functional ability.

About the Role

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with individuals and contribute to their overall wellbeing by providing detailed reports and justifications that support informed decision-making.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face, video, or telephone assessments to gather comprehensive information about an individual's functional ability.
  • Write clear and concise reports (400-500 words) detailing your findings and providing recommendations for support.
  • Provide detailed justifications to support NIDFC decisions, ensuring that each case is thoroughly evaluated and supported.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year post-registration experience in a relevant healthcare profession, including nursing, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, paramedicine, or medicine.
  • Fully registered with the National Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Based in NI, Wales, or the Midlands of the UK.
