A skilled Electrical Build Technician is required to join our team in Cork. This role involves working closely with the Machine Build Coordinator or selected department leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret electrical/pneumatic drawings and schematics.
- Complete Panel Build Assembly, Panel Wiring, and Field Wiring systems.
- Ensure high-quality build of each project.
- Assist with completing key project milestones, including power up, setup tasks, safety checks, and quality checks.
- Develop understanding of key project milestones and ensure timely completion of each stage.
- Test, troubleshoot, debug, and validate equipment performance and compliance to technical specifications.
- Complete required documentation.
- Inspect drawings for clarity and liaise with electrical design engineers.
- Meet agreed timelines and quality targets.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Level 6 qualification in an Electrical Discipline (or equivalent experience) in a similar role.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise and neat work.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Interest in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proactive and solution-focused with good organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and in team settings).
- Proficient in using common MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
