Tax Expert

We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team as Tax Associates. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients, conduct tax interviews, and prepare accurate tax returns.

You will also be responsible for generating business growth, increasing client retention, and offering additional products and services. Our team is dedicated to providing expert support and training to ensure your success in this challenging yet rewarding role.

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting tax interviews with clients face-to-face and through virtual tools
  
• Preparing complete and accurate tax returns
  
• Generating business growth, increasing client retention, and offering additional products and services
  
• Providing clients with IRS support
  
• Supporting office priorities through teamwork and collaboration
  
• Growing your tax expertise
  

We are looking for individuals who possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have previous experience in customer service or retail environments. It would be advantageous to have a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

Additionally, successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course is a requirement for this role. You must also be able to effectively communicate in person, via phone, and in writing.

This is not an entry-level position, but rather a senior role that requires significant experience and expertise in tax preparation.

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 25-35 hours weekly throughout tax season and up to 40 hours during peak weeks.
