In this role, you will be providing care to service users with intellectual disabilities and challenging behaviors. The working environment will be in a residential setting, with varied shifts between days and nights.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • You must possess QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support, Nursing Studies or Social Care
  • You should have experience working with challenging behaviors
  • You must reside in Ireland and hold the right to work in Ireland without restriction
  • You need to show compassion and empathy towards others
  • You require a full clean driving license
  • You are required to undergo Garda Vetting
  • If you have spent over 6 months abroad after the age of 16, you need International Police Clearance

Job Tasks:

  • Carry out personal care tasks for service users, such as feeding, washing, and dressing
  • Report any notable events or incidents to the responsible person
  • Offer emotional support to service users
  • Assist service users with daily tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being
  • Contribute to the efficient operation of the service
