Senior Android Application Lead

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Android Application Lead to spearhead the development of our cutting-edge mobile applications. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a talented group of engineers in building world-class Android applications.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of skilled Android engineers to design, develop, and deliver high-quality mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UX, PM, QA, and other engineers, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
  • Drive best practices and technical excellence in Android development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
  • Coach and mentor junior engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of growth and development.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Tech Lead or similar role in Android application development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards shared goals.
  • Strong understanding of software development principles, including code quality, unit testing, and BDD.
  • Proficient in all aspects of Android development, including Kotlin and Java.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
  • Experience with Selenium or Espresso/Screenshot testing, and delivering high-quality services to production.
