Project Manager

Civil Engineering Project Oversight

We are seeking an experienced project manager to oversee the day-to-day operations on a large civil engineering project. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and labor to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Implement construction plans in line with project drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Coordinate plant, equipment, and materials to avoid delays.
  • Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, and progress meetings.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and performance against project targets.
  • Report daily progress and issues to the Site Manager/Project Manager.
  • Resolve on-site challenges to maintain programme delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a foreman on civil engineering projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Irish construction regulations and safety standards.
