We are seeking a skilled tax professional to join our team at Clarity Search Partners. As a specialist tax firm based in Dublin, we pride ourselves on delivering expert tax advice and solutions to our clients.
Our clients come from a diverse range of industries, including large corporates, family-owned businesses, medical consultancy, high net worth individuals and business executives. We also provide taxation services to clients of accountancy and legal firms.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax and business, with experience in either personal tax or corporate tax. They will be responsible for meeting with clients, drafting advice letters and memos, and representing clients on appeals to the Tax Appeals Commission (TAC).
Main Responsibilities:
- Meet with key clients on a regular basis to understand their tax needs and provide expert advice.
- Draft client advice letters and memos, working closely with our tax director to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Liaise with clients and Revenue on matters related to Revenue Interventions, such as domicile levy, connected party transactions and Capital Gains Tax valuations.
- Represent clients on appeals to TAC, ensuring that their interests are represented and their rights protected.
- Conduct research on complex taxation matters across all tax heads, staying up-to-date with changes in tax legislation.
- Prepare and review tax computations and income tax returns to ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Supervise tax trainees and participate in internal training sessions to share knowledge and expertise.
About You:
- Qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and/or professional accountancy qualification.
- At least 1-2 years post-qualification experience in tax, preferably in personal tax or corporate tax.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret tax legislation.
