Private Equity Fund Accounting Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced Team Lead to oversee a growing Private Equity Fund Accounting department. This pivotal role involves managing workloads, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing leadership to maintain a high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Private Equity Fund Accountants
- Review and oversee NAVs, valuations, and client reporting to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Manage workloads efficiently while meeting client service levels and regulatory deadlines
- Provide coaching, training, and continuous development for team members
- Act as the key liaison with clients, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Drive improvements in processes, automation, and reporting quality
- Contribute to the department's strategic goals and business priorities
Requirements:
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- 10+ years post-qualification experience
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS
- Experience reviewing NAVs
- Proven people leadership skills
- Strong client service orientation and ability to engage confidently with stakeholders
Benefits:
- Hybrid model – 3 days onsite in Limerick
- Rate: €45–€50 per hour
- Duration: 12-month contract + strong potential for extension or permanent hire
