About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team in Ireland. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for working closely with our business partners to develop and maintain accurate reporting solutions, leveraging your expertise in data modelling, analytics, and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate rebate calculations and payments.
  2. Embed forecasting models to predict future trends in drug utilization, costs, and savings.
  3. Provide insights into market dynamics that impact rebate strategies.
  4. Continuously improve forecasting accuracy through advanced statistical techniques.
  5. Design predictive models to anticipate future healthcare trends, patient behavior, and treatment outcomes.
  6. Utilize machine learning algorithms to enhance model performance.
  7. Interpret model results to inform strategic decision-making for our organization and our clients.
  8. Conduct comprehensive data analysis using large datasets from various sources (claims data, clinical data, etc.).
  9. Identify patterns, trends, and insights that drive business value.
  10. Develop dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across a matrix environment to deliver business goals.
  • Experience in working with and analyzing diverse datasets to develop business insight and strategy.
  • Proven ability to work on projects with accountability of work to senior management level stakeholders.
  • Understanding of competitive landscape and familiarity with pharmaceuticals or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Very good knowledge of at least one data modelling, scripting or statistical language such as R or Python.
  • Advanced data modelling and data manipulation skills and proficiency in at least SQL and Excel.
