About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced professional to provide strategic leadership for our Pharmacovigilance function. The ideal candidate will drive continuous process improvement, represent the function at senior leadership meetings, and ensure alignment with company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide departmental leadership and direction to achieve business objectives.
- Evaluate and maintain an effective Pharmacovigilance system.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for Pharmacovigilance internally and externally.
- Presentation of team information and contribution to company strategy at senior leadership meetings.
- Determine strategies to build and maintain a high-performing team.
- Establish functional performance development plans and monitor agreed objectives.
- Mobilize and control team resources to meet deadlines and targets.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Support business development initiatives for the function.
Requirements:
- Substantial experience in the industry.
- Relevant degree in life sciences or healthcare.
- Proven people management skills including organizational agility.
- Clear communication and leadership abilities.
- Fundamental understanding of finance.
- Experience managing budgets, driving performance, and contributing to commercial decision making.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Eligibility to be named Qualified Person Pharmacovigilance.
- Commitment to ongoing training in functional area and leadership/strategy.
