Job Overview

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Utility Operations Specialist. This exciting opportunity is with a leading multinational based in Dublin.

This role is perfect for someone looking to join a company at the forefront of their industry. As a Utility Operations Specialist, you will play a key part in ensuring seamless handover to operations by providing technical expertise on utility operations and maintenance throughout the lifecycle of projects.

  • Establish and maintain maintenance standards to drive safe and dependable operations through a focus on reliability excellence.
  • Review vendor reports and documentation, ensuring timely and effective closure of work orders within the site's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
  • Ensure that all utility systems comply with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the critical utilities operations and maintenance team to optimize the performance and reliability of critical utility equipment.
  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve issues within utility systems, applying effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Oversee service delivery and nurture strong relationships with service providers, working in close coordination with internal stakeholders such as operations, maintenance, EHS, quality, procurement, and global functions.
  • Participate in internal and external audits as required.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

A bachelor's degree or master's degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline is essential. You must have experience providing technical support in a live facility, preferably in operating and maintaining utility systems within a biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

In-depth knowledge of utility system design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and documents, is required. A solid understanding of process design, GMP standards, maintenance practices, and relevant industry regulations within pharmaceutical manufacturing is also necessary.
