Senior Bar Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bar Manager to lead our team of bartenders and contribute to the success of our establishment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the smooth operation of the bar, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient service delivery.
  • Responsible for end-of-day closing procedures, including cash handling and stock management.
  • Cash count and prepare the bar for the next day's service.
  • Develop and implement cocktail menus, train staff on new recipes and techniques, and maintain brand standards.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as adhering to company standards of service and preparation (SOPs).
  • Stay up-to-date with all beverage menus and make recommendations to customers.
  • Upsell opportunities throughout customer interactions, promoting our premium drinks and services.
  • Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner at all times, providing exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Report any special requirements or difficulties to management promptly.
  • Be responsible for the bar area when on shift, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to improve performance and maintain high standards.
  • Adhere to hotel customer relations policy and communicate services effectively to guests.
  • Address customer complaints in a sympathetic and professional manner, escalating issues to management if necessary.
  • Arrive on time for shifts, dressed in full uniform and wearing name badge.
  • Maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and grooming, as per company policies.
Requirements:
  • Mid-Senior level experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and company SOPs.
  • Basic knowledge of HACCP principles.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
