Job Description

We are seeking an Automation Engineering Associate Manager to join our team. This role will provide leadership and technical expertise in automation, digital transformation, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in manufacturing and automation. They will be responsible for leading a dynamic team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and coaching to staff, and driving innovation in automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Team Development
    • Provide technical and people leadership to deliver on key business metrics.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    • Motivate individuals and teams to achieve ambitious goals in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Strategic & Technical Execution
    • Partner with senior management to establish departmental goals, budgets, and resource plans aligned to business priorities.
    • Lead and support manufacturing engineering projects with a focus on automation, smart manufacturing, and process optimization.
    • Prioritize and manage multiple projects to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of results.
  • Automation & Innovation
    • Champion the adoption of advanced automation technologies (PLC, SCADA, robotics, IIoT, Industry 4.0) to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement automation solutions, resolve complex technical issues, and enable digital manufacturing capabilities.
    • Partners with vendors and external stakeholders to assess and deploy new automation technologies.
