Job Title: Supply Chain Strategist

Role Overview

As a Supply Chain Strategist, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless supply to internal and external manufacturing partners. Your responsibility will be to oversee the strategic and tactical planning and ordering of key Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) and Raw Starting Materials (RSMs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage global demand forecast and supply planning for assigned APIs to prevent market stock-outs.
  • Lead monthly review meetings with internal and external receiving sites to monitor demand forecast changes.
  • Identify and proactively address potential supply risks arising from forecast fluctuations or supplier constraints.
  • Monitor and expedite API deliveries, transit, and local release to ensure availability at receiving sites.
  • Develop and implement best practices across the procurement lifecycle.
  • Represent the supply chain team in process improvement projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supply planning role and supply chain operations.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with experience in inventory modeling, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
