Electrical Design Expert Wanted

We seek an Electrical Design Professional to join our service engineering team in Kildare. This role involves electrical design, site supervision, and contract management for projects in the processing industry.

The Role:
  • Developing electrical designs adhering to regulations, standards, and specifications.
  • Planning, designing, budgeting, purchasing, installing, and commissioning electrical systems and components for projects.
  • Overseeing site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and managing the commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Working with motor control systems, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning.
  • Supporting ATEX design and installation; experience in this area is an advantage.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

The Person:
  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or be a qualified Electrician with a minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with electrical design practices, regulations, and standards.
  • Proven experience with motor control, MCCs, and instrumentation commissioning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
