Job Opportunity: Cardiac Physiologist

A challenging and rewarding opportunity has arisen for a Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Ireland.

About the Position:

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out their duties to an appropriate level, under the supervision of the designated lead Cardiac Physiologist. They will also be responsible for managing their own caseload, prioritizing work, and promoting positive staff morale and team working.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Carry out duties to an appropriate level under supervision or guidance of designated lead Cardiac Physiologist and in cooperation with Consultant Cardiologist or multidisciplinary team.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment, ensuring care and cleanliness, sterility where required.
  • Manage own caseload and input in diagnostic assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Prioritize work and promote positive staff morale and team working.
Key Requirements:
  • Hold a Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM), Bachelor of Science in Clinical Measurement Science, or comparable degree.
  • Prior experience at a comparable level is preferred.
  • Technical expertise in adult transthoracic echocardiography and catheter lab procedures advantageous.
  • BSE Accreditation desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, strong sense of accountability and self-motivation required.
