Key Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with relevant departments to ensure all designs are achievable and cost-effective
  2. Liaise with the client and keep them up-to-date on projects
  3. Prepare drawings using CAD, Revit and BIM Technology
  4. Provide advice on project management and design implications
  5. Deal with emails
  6. Create high-quality detailed technical drawings and plans based on designs supplied by architects and designers
  7. Ensure that drawings and designs meet client standards
  8. Ability to work on own initiative and provide innovative solutions to design issues
  9. Provide accurate, detailed and to-scale drawings
  10. Ensure drawings are compliant with industry and health and safety standards and protocols
  11. Strong knowledge of materials and engineering principles to check feasibility of manufacture and construction of the product
  12. Present working drawings for use in all stages of the project, tender, manufacture/construction and installation
  13. Produce installation and manufacturing documentation
  14. Maintain accurate records
