Job Overview

The primary objective of this role is to prepare and manage financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing timely and accurate information for decision-making purposes.



Role Purpose:

This position involves the preparation of trust annual reports, month-end reporting, and regulatory reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with senior finance personnel to ensure all accounting and regulatory responsibilities are completed in a timely manner.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare trustee annual reports and liaise with internal and external auditors as necessary.
  • Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory filings in compliance with relevant standards to the Pensions Authority and the Central Bank of Ireland.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submissions to the Pension Authority and other regulatory bodies.
  • Reconcile balance sheets of subsidiaries and prepare quarterly and annual central bank reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in accounting, banking, finance, or business administration.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working with an audit firm or trainee accountant/trustee accountant.
  • Strong spreadsheet proficiency.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.
