  • This is a highly skilled and challenging opportunity for an experienced hydrogeologist to join our dynamic team as a principal consultant.
  • As a senior professional, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and leadership on complex projects within the environmental sector.
  • You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to scope and deliver projects in line with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality technical reports.
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members and sub-consultants.
  • Communicating effectively with clients, external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and sub-contractors.
  • Contributing to project and program management for large and complex projects.
  • Preparing proposals to address client needs.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or related disciplines.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in the environmental sector.
  • Excellent self-motivation, organisation, and ability to work independently.
  • High attention to detail, excellent report writing, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and data assembly skills.
  • Ability to respond to tight timelines and reporting needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Desirable Criteria:

  • More than 5 years' experience.
  • Full clean driving license or working towards it would be beneficial.
  • Membership/Chartership of a recognised Environmental Professional body.
