Head Baker Position

We are seeking an experienced Head Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing a bakery operation, with expertise in producing high-quality bread and pastries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the bakery
- Overseeing production schedules and workflows
- Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ingredients
- Developing and implementing quality control measures to maintain high standards
In addition to operational management, we require strong leadership skills, including:
- Ability to motivate and train staff members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with HACCP and other relevant food safety protocols
This is a full-time permanent position offering a competitive salary and bonus scheme. If you have a passion for baking and a drive to succeed, we would love to hear from you.
Parking available on site. Will involve some early morning starts (4, 5, 6 am etc.). Monday to Friday but occasional Saturdays required. Team of approx 12 to manage. Regular and high-end bakery product line. Medium to large volume. Supply lines include shops, stores, restaurants etc. Product line includes items such as apple tarts, frangipanes, danishes, buns, biscuits etc. May suit an experienced Head Pastry Chef or regular kitchen Head Chef who has good knowledge and experience in bakery products.
