Job Overview
Head-Hunt International is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our client's team in the Leinster area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive occupational health services, overseeing administrative activities, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Occupational Health Nurse to take on a lead role in surveillance and make a real impact on employee wellbeing and productivity. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for devising and implementing effective strategies to improve employee health, reduce absenteeism, and enhance overall organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide proactive occupational health services, including risk assessments, VDU ergonomics, and vaccination clinics
* Manage and follow-up on needle stick/splash injuries
* Develop and implement return-to-work plans following serious injury or prolonged ill health
* Coordinate completion of pre-employment medicals and interpretation of results
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records
* Collaborate with OHPs, GPs, physiotherapists, and consultants to manage cases

Requirements
* Recognised qualification in Occupational Health
* Registered General Nurse with valid NMBI registration
* Competency in Audiometry, Spirometry, Vision screening, phlebotomy, VDU ergonomics, and administration of vaccines
* Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal, empathy, and listening skills
* Strong organisational and planning skills, including time management and prioritisation
* Minimum 2 years' experience in occupational health nursing
