  • We're seeking an accomplished Development Manager to join our collaborative environment and drive large-scale affordable housing projects forward.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in property development, project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Our agency is committed to promoting and supporting a diverse and inclusive workforce.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key elements of projects from concept through to delivery, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage developments across various stages of the lifecycle, including early concept, acquisition, planning, design, procurement, and delivery.
  • Support feasibility studies, identifying development opportunities and constraints.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and implementation, including optioneering analysis and recommending optimum delivery approaches.
  • Prepare development briefs, outlining project scope, deliverables, programme, budget, and design team scopes of services.
  • Coordinate and liaise across functions, ensuring seamless collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Appoint design teams, other professional service providers, and construction contractors.
  • Engage with stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Proactively manage design teams and service providers from a technical, programme, and budgetary perspective.

Person Specifications/Requirements
  • At least 5 years' experience in property development roles.
  • Possess a recognized degree-level qualification in project management or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills, proactive approach, and solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with the Irish or UK Planning, development, and construction sectors.
  • Technical knowledge and understanding of principles such as planning systems, construction buildability, and value engineering.
