About Our Team
Our corporate tax compliance specialists provide expert services to a diverse range of clients, from multinationals to family-owned businesses.
Our well-established corporate tax compliance team brings together a centralised pool of tax professionals to continuously challenge themselves to modernise our corporate tax compliance function and deliver exceptional quality to our clients.
About The Role
- Work on a varied client portfolio with a focus on financial services tax (aviation leasing, asset management, insurance, banking, securitisation companies).
- Conduct quality reviews of corporate tax client deliverables including corporate tax returns, tax provisioning, tax accounting and reporting work.
- Meet with financial services clients to discuss key tax law changes and explain their potential impact on tax liability and/or reporting/disclosure obligations.
- Correspond with revenue authorities regarding compliance intervention notifications.
- Interact with other Deloitte offices around the world as part of globally coordinated corporate tax compliance engagements.
- Research tax technical compliance matters, including the application of evolving global tax developments to Irish companies.
- Contribute to how we evolve through the use of tax technology and tax transformation projects, helping to design Deloitte's future corporation tax compliance process and how we deliver our product.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities within our compliance portfolio and refer them to other tax departments and/or the wider firm.
- Assist with planning, development and facilitation of ongoing corporate tax compliance training programmes.
- Manage and oversee working capital management objectives and other key metrics.
- Support the corporate tax compliance centre directors and partner in the ongoing management, strategic direction and advancement of the corporate tax compliance centre.
- Mentor, coach and motivate our on-shore and off-shore trainee group to be best-in-class in the delivery of compliance services and play an active role in their performance appraisal process.
About You
Hold a qualified CTA or CTC designation.
Have a proven record of service excellence.
Be deadline-focused and a team player.
Exhibit excellent communication skills, a commitment to efficient and effective performance, and excellent project management/organisational, technical and analytical skills.
