Job Overview

A key role exists for a senior engineer to manage and maintain high-volume test equipment and programs for functional testing of medical devices.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support offline test methods to optimize the test process and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve product and yield issues.
  • Maintain existing legacy software, test fixtures, and equipment, including fault diagnosis to component level.
  • Validate and calibrate test hardware and software to ensure conformity.
  • Develop strategic plans for test coverage, diagnosability, reparability, and test time reductions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in performing accredited testing on wireless technologies such as WLAN 802.11, Bluetooth, Zigbee, etc.
  • Programming expertise in C, C++, Python, or comparable languages.
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and its application in high-volume electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Strong testing background with experience writing test plans and procedures, and an understanding of testing best practices (ISTQB certification).
Favorable Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in Test Development or Manufacturing Test roles.
  • Knowledge of performance testing and its principles.
  • Experience working in product-based electronics manufacturing settings.
