Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated professional to join our dynamic team as a Graduate Engineering Geologist.

This role is ideal for recent graduates passionate about engineering geology and geotechnics, ready to work on diverse projects and develop their skills in a supportive environment.

You will assist with geotechnical assessments, reporting, and project design while gaining exposure to industry best practices and standards.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within project teams to deliver high-quality services to clients, participate in site inspections to verify that designs are properly executed in the field, and supervise site investigation works.

  • Geotechnical logging of ground conditions
  • Completion and Reporting of in-situ geotechnical testing
  • Completion and Reporting of inclinometer movement monitoring
  • Assist in creating geotechnical designs that align with industry standards, ensuring recommendations are sound and practical.
  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations, ensuring they meet client briefs and expectations.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

· A minimum 2:1 Bachelor's degree or Master's in Applied or Engineering Geology.

· Basic understanding of engineering geology and geotechnical concepts, with knowledge of geotechnical software preferred.

· Familiarity with field techniques like rock mapping, stereonets, slope stability, kinematic analysis, and basic risk assessment.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and agencies.

· Knowledge of Codes of Practice, Design Standards, and Health and Safety Regulations.

· A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

· A full clean driving license is preferred.
