Job Opportunity: Lead Java Developer

A dynamic team is seeking an experienced Lead Java Developer to join their innovative and collaborative environment. As a key member of the squad, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of cutting-edge solutions using Java, Angular, Spring Boot, and AWS.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers
  • Build full-stack solutions using Java
  • Drive innovation, collaboration, and DevOps best practices

The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with Java and Spring, strong problem-solving skills, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. They must also be based within commutable distance to Galway due to the hybrid working policy and possess the legal right to work in Ireland.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience working with Java and Spring (Boot, MVC, etc)
  • Experience working with a distributed team
  • Extensive experience working with UI technologies (ideally Angular 6 plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle on-call responsibilities
