Job Opportunity

A skilled Site Engineer is required to manage site works, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery in accordance with programme requirements.

About the Role

The successful candidate will report to the Site Manager or Project Manager and play a key role in managing site operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are maintained.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Operations
  • Supervise daily site activities and subcontractor performance.
  • Maintain highest standards of site safety, enforcing good housekeeping practices across the site.
  • Assist with daily briefings and ensure safe work interface between trades.
Health & Safety
  • Ensure all works are delivered safely and in compliance with legislation.
  • Prepare method statements and risk assessments as needed.
  • Promote a Zero Harm culture across all site operations.
Technical & Quality Assurance
  • Perform setting out and surveying using robotic total station and dumpy level.
  • Ensure all works and materials meet required specifications and drawings.
  • Liaise with design team and internal project leads to maintain timely flow of information.
  • Resolve technical issues and ensure a snag-free handover.
Project Management Support
  • Interface with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure coordination.
  • Manage plant and material requisitions for site.
  • Track progress against programme and flag delays to site management.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Site-based engineering experience on building projects.
  • Solid understanding of setting out and surveying techniques.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to programme deadlines.
