About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior In-House Legal Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on all aspects of commercial law, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Management: Oversee the preparation, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts, ensuring they meet our business objectives and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with our business activities, providing strategic guidance to senior management.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis on complex legal issues, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective legal strategies, ensuring seamless execution and delivery.

Requirements:

  • A qualified solicitor with a current practicing certificate in Ireland.
  • At least 5 years' PQE, preferably with experience in commercial law or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A keen eye for detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of financial services regulation and compliance.
  • Experience with contract management software and tools.
