As a senior finance leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our organization.

About the Position

The Head of Finance and Corporate Services is a high-impact leadership position that requires a collaborative approach to managing multiple functions. You will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to deliver effective support services that align with our School Development Plan and long-term goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning in finance, HR, facilities management, and corporate services.
  • Manage budget, financial reporting, audits, and procurement processes.
  • Oversee HR for all non-teaching staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure effective facilities maintenance, health & safety compliance, and risk management.
  • Drive service improvements, change management, and value for money initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in financial management, including budget preparation and management, financial monitoring, and reporting.
  • Experience managing corporate services functions, including HR, estates, and health & safety.
  • Strong strategic leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • An ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders (internal & external).
  • A recognized accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
