Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced accountant to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for tracking production costs, analyzing variances, and supporting budgeting and forecasting.

You will work closely with operations to improve cost efficiency, ensure compliance with financial controls, and contribute insights that help shape strategic decisions and drive business performance.

This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals and gain exposure to real business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Dive into cost analysis and budget management to help drive operational efficiency.
  • Support project-focused financial planning and reporting, adding real value to decision-making.
  • Help design and refine financial processes that keep us ahead.
  • Partner closely with operations to monitor and control manufacturing costs.
  • Prepare management accounts, variance analyses, and performance reports that inform strategic choices.
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Ensure we stay compliant with financial regulations and robust internal controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Newly or part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA).
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Great communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage, but not essential — we'll help you learn.
