Job Description:
As a Senior Site Engineer with our client, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate the construction activities on site, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Supervise and manage site teams, including providing technical input and resolving technical issues
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression
  • Prepare and maintain accurate site reports, records, and documentation
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards
  • Optimize productivity and minimize waste by effectively managing material, equipment, and resource usage on site
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site teams and subcontractors as required
  • Assist in preparing project schedules, work plans, and method statements

Candidate Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience working as a Site Engineer in the residential construction industryIn-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively manage a site team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Proficient in using construction management software and tools
  • Sound understanding of health and safety regulations and practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to different project sites as required
