The Role

We seek a Sr Manager Security Engineering to lead and scale a high-performing security engineering team in Cork, Ireland. This role will drive strategic security initiatives across cloud security, application security, network security, and AI security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and Leading a High-Performing Team
    • Recruit, mentor, and develop top security engineering talent
    • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning
  • Cloud Security Engineering
    • Design and implement robust security solutions for cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
    • Enhance cloud security posture through identity management, encryption, and access controls
  • Application Security
    • Establish secure software development practices and collaborate with engineering teams to implement them
    • Lead initiatives such as threat modeling, secure code reviews, and vulnerability management
  • Network Security
    • Oversee security architecture for network infrastructure, ensuring resilience against cyber threats
    • Implement zero-trust security principles and network segmentation strategies
  • AI Security
    • Develop security strategies to protect AI/ML models and ensure data integrity
    • Address adversarial AI risks and emerging threats in AI-driven environments
  • Collaboration & Leadership
    • Work cross-functionally with engineering, IT, compliance, and business stakeholders
    • Drive security awareness and training programs across teams
