Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Management Operative to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow.

As a Traffic Management Operative, you will play a crucial role in setting up, maintaining, and dismantling traffic control measures and equipment. You will work closely with colleagues and the public to ensure effective communication and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely install and set up traffic management equipment, signs, cones, barriers, and other equipment according to established plans and procedures.
  • Monitor traffic flow and respond to changing conditions, adjusting traffic control measures as necessary to ensure the safety of both workers and the public.
  • Operate company vehicles, such as trucks or vans, to transport traffic management equipment and personnel to and from work sites.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance of traffic management equipment to ensure proper functionality, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Valid Safe Pass
  • Manual Handling
  • Full B and/or C driver license desirable but not essential
  • Own transport essential for shifts which may begin outside of the hours of public transport
