Job Title: Senior Team Lead Maintenance Electrician

A highly skilled team leader is required to manage and maintain electrical systems in a large industrial setting.

The successful candidate will lead a team of electricians, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of complex electrical systems.

This position involves a high level of responsibility, requiring strong leadership and technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To lead and motivate a team of skilled electricians, focusing on their development and performance.
  • To perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, identifying and addressing potential issues before they become major problems.
  • To train and upskill junior electricians, enhancing their knowledge and competence in electrical systems and instrumentation.
  • To oversee the work of contractor electricians, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards and regulations.
  • To implement planned maintenance routines using industry-leading software, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team of skilled professionals.
  • Qualified Electrician with QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft - Electrical or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of switchgear, MCC controls, relay logic, and various AC and DC voltage systems.
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical process plants and related maintenance activities within the wastewater industry.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in an industrial environment, with a strong track record of achievement.
  • Thorough understanding of Health & Safety statutory requirements, responsibilities, and obligations.
