Job Summary

The Head of Legal is a senior leadership role responsible for leading a legal team in Ireland. This position involves providing strategic advice to senior management and overseeing custodial, trustee, and fund administration matters.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for negotiating fund and custody documentation, managing complex transactions, and advising senior stakeholders. A strong communication and gravitas are required, along with the ability to influence across local and international senior management teams.

This role requires the ideal candidate to have 15+ years PQE and a legal background in an international financial services institution. Experience in custody, depositary, fund administration, and fund accounting is essential.

A key aspect of this position is staying abreast of Irish, EU, and EMEA legal and regulatory trends impacting financial services.
