Job Title: Junior Merchandiser

The Junior Merchandiser plays a vital role in supporting the buying team in planning, budgeting, and purchasing of products across clothing departments.

This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills to analyze sales trends, stock levels, and margin for each category and brand within relevant departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze sales data and market trends to inform merchandising decisions.
• Collaborate with the buying team to develop and implement merchandising plans.
• Maintain accurate records of sales data, inventory levels, and supplier information.
• Liaise with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery schedules.
• Compile merchandise guides and manage allocation of stock to stores.

Required Qualifications:

• Possesses a passion for retail and fashion industry.
• Holds 1-2 years of retail experience.
• A qualification in Fashion/Design/Business is advantageous.
• Demonstrates strong computer skills, including report generation and data analysis.
• Candidates should be able to formulate and express logical opinions.
• Showcases attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively both orally and written.
• Strong interpersonal skills enable establishing positive working relationships with suppliers, design teams, and fellow colleagues.
• Proven experience of taking initiative and managing projects through to completion.
