We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Person and Maintenance Worker to join our team in our newly refurbished service at Watermans Lodge, Ballina/Killaloe, Co. Tipperary. This is a Permanent, Part-Time, 19.5 hours contract opportunity. If you are a skilled and motivated individual with experience in grounds maintenance and repair, we would love to hear from you.

Your key responsibilities will include maintaining the grounds and facilities, ensuring they remain safe and visually appealing for our clients and staff. This will involve tasks such as mowing, edging, and fertilizing lawns; conducting weeding and mulching landscape beds; and liaising with contractors to ensure timely completion of projects to a high standard. You will also be responsible for electrical and mechanical trouble-shooting, painting of interiors, repairing interior and exterior walls, gates, and entrances, emptying bins, window cleaning, floor cleaning and buffing, and assisting with car parking for large events.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess outstanding ability to perform tasks as part of a team and independently, physical stamina, excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and clients, precise decision-making skills, a full driving license with access to a vehicle, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to write and speak English to a high standard. You may also hold trade qualifications or experience relevant to grounds maintenance and repair, which would be an added advantage.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from €29,417 - €42,313 per annum, pro-rata, depending on the date of employment (DOE), along with a range of benefits designed to support your well-being and career development.
