Job Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional academic professional to join our team as a lecturer in Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as undertake research activities that strengthen the University's international position in construction practice.

  • Teaching: Develop and deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions to students at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Research: Contribute to the University's research capacity in the application of innovative technologies to Civil Engineering infrastructure, including water resources, wastewater and hydraulic infrastructure, transport infrastructure, buildings etc.
  • Student Supervision: Supervise student projects and dissertations, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Programme Administration: Assist with the administration of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including programme planning, curriculum development, and quality assurance.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to academic excellence.

The appointment will be made on the Associate Professor/Lecturer scale in line with current Government pay policy and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the University's Remuneration policy.
