Strategic Patient Outcomes Director

The role of a Healthcare Research Director is to oversee the development and implementation of patient-centered outcomes research strategies within a Therapeutic Area. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on local health authority and payer needs, as well as driving understanding of healthcare requirements for patient-centered outcomes research and adoption of standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver compelling patient reimbursement strategies within HTA Strategy Plans, Integrated Product Access Strategies, and One Brand Plans, aligned with Integrated Evidence Plans.
- Collaborate with PCO Centers of Excellence, Global Program Teams, HEOR Leads, HTA Evidence Synthesis, Access, Medical Affairs, and AQS Biostat to ensure patient measurement strategies include relevant patient-reported outcomes and health utilities for international HTAs and payers.
- Participate in and co-lead projects ensuring patient-centered outcomes critical for HTAs and payers are included in clinical trials, non-interventional studies, and real-world studies, coordinating with countries to ensure alignment on local HTA and payer needs.
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, with 5+ years in HEOR roles and at least 3 years leading health utility projects.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in evaluating, developing, and validating PRO/PCO instruments to meet HTA reimbursement requirements.
- In-depth understanding of key patient-centered outcomes measurement systems.
