We have an exciting opportunity available as a Payroll Specialist. This role involves working closely with the Finance team to deliver weekly and monthly payroll runs accurately and within strict deadlines. Your responsibilities will include processing weekly and monthly payroll runs accurately and on time, verifying and processing expense claims, preparing payroll reports for management and finance teams, ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations, tax requirements, and company policies, handling employee payroll-related inquiries promptly and professionally, liaising with HR and finance team to ensure accurate data integration, assisting with audits by preparing necessary payroll documentation, processing deductions such as benefits, and staying updated on payroll regulations and best practices.

Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll legislation, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Good communication skills and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Certification in payroll (e.g., IPASS) or relevant HR / Payroll qualification highly desirable.
