Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker


Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their homes.
  • You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assess the needs of each individual and develop personalized care plans that meet their unique requirements.
  • Your role will involve assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care, mobility, and meal preparation, as well as providing emotional support and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centered care and support to service users in their homes.
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation.
  • Supporting service users with medication management and adhering to care plans.
  • Communicating effectively with service users, family members, and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Fetac Level 5 or QQI Level 5 Healthcare Support qualification.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a caring profession.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
